There won't be enough mulch, you just wouldn't understand

Alright, like promised I have another night time chat to share. J must be tired all of the time, because it seems rare that he has a full quiet nights sleep.
During college J worked on and off at Home Depot. He worked in plumbing, lighting, and then garden.
Exciting right?
About this time last year he was working non-stop, picking up extra shifts, going in early and working late. He seemed stressed when he would come home about one thing or another (ya know, how long the hoses should stay on to water the roses, when the shipment of garden bricks would be in, very important stuff)
One night after we had gone to bed, it was about 3am and J is tossing and turning.

J: "Chels"
Me: zzzz zzzzz
J: "Chelsea"
Me: "huh? what?"
J sits up in bed
J: "There won't be enough...there just won't be enough"
Me: "Enough what? What are you talking about?"
J: "We are going to run out, there just won't be enough"
I sit up in bed
Me: "Are you sleeping or awake? What won't there be enough of?"
J: "There won't be enough mulch...you just wouldn't understand!"

J then rolls over angrily, snatching the covers up over his head and lets out this deep sigh like he just couldn't be more annoyed that they would run out of mulch and I just wouldn't understand!

Cut to the morning, J obviously has no memory of this conversation. Upon returning from work that evening, he told me that they ran out of mulch. Like seriously? Are you some kind of garden center prophet? They should be paying you more!
After this first mulch dream, J had a few more very similar throughout the spring and summer season at Home Depot. I can't imagine what it would be like to dream about mulch...

Either way, always makes for an interesting nights sleep in our house.

Peace, Love and Shards of wood you spread between your flowers,
Chels
